In my first blog about crystals I have dwelt on the mythological aspect of crystal quartz. This new article will be now concentrated on the actual facts of their formation and their transmission of healing energy.
If one studies the formation of the earth, we notice that most of the crystals are formed just below the crust and just above the mantle which is loaded with molten rock and minerals and accompanied by boiling water, steam and gasses, which as they cool down, begin to form crystals, building upon the many minerals deposited within those fissures. In this manner do rock crystals and gemstones begin their growth, slowly forming their light in the primeval darkness, taking millions and millions of years to achieve their real size.
All forms undergoing growth experiences upon or within this world of matter possesses a life energy of one kind or another, and elemental forces inhabit the developing crystalline structures, overseeing their development, slowly creating a world of their own. Very often clusters of crystals are formed with a number of elementals being gathered together with one powerful grouping.
In common with children of all ages, rock crystals will readily respond to loving attention and in return will provide those who care for them with an endless supply of electro-magnetic energy. This force will stimulate the energy levels of all individuals who happen to be in the vicinity of the crystal, leading to a spiritual raising of levels of consciousness, emotions, thought patterns etc.
When we think about something, we may call it ‘thought pattern’. These patterns create an energy which is amplified within the structure of a quartz crystal. So when we think of something our thoughts are picked up by the personal crystal, amplified and projected into the ethers, where they are received by the intelligence within the said quartz formation. In response they are transmitted, echoed, by the physical crystal piece which we are holding and reflected as shock waves within our bodies.
Similar reactions were noted in scientifically conducted experiments with plants which were wired to a very sensitive monitoring device. Some plants were shown a great deal of attention, others were ignored and one was abused. Whenever the person who had abused the plant entered the room, all of the plants registered alarm upon the measuring devices.
We must admit that intelligence of some kind exists upon all levels, and simple Experimentation will prove this point, provided that one is sensitive to finer energies emitted by the gems.
Many of us incorrectly believe that all rock crystals being of the same species of quartz, will perform in much the same manner. This is a very common misunderstanding. Even members of the same family will not react in the same manner to identical situations. Rock crystals perform in an individualistic way, each possessing separate identities and qualities.
Also sizes of crystals is not indicative of energy levels, for some of the small, very clear crystals emit a more powerful force than larger pieces.
We must also understand that a rock quartz is a mineral which is closely allied to the energies of the Moon, whose effect upon sensitive individuals is well known. Indeed the energy flow of a crystal will appear to ebb and flow in accordance with the phases of the Moon, reaching a peak when the Moon is full.
Many also recommend to sleep with crystals or to place them in their sleeping quarters. I am strongly against this as crystals will exert extreme pressure and pain in the region of the head during the early hours of the morning. The rock crystals are stimulated again at such times, by the energies of the Moon. The crystal formation will then proceed to release its newly replenished force in the ethers for use on higher levels of consciousness.
These energies invariably activate the Crown Chakra of any individual who happens to be within its distance. The resulting pain often lasts for some time.
All quartzes can be used to dispel static electricity and can provide for conversion and re-direction of the energy toward a beneficial state. It produces a naturally balanced solid state energy field, modifying the energy available in accordance with the understanding of the user.
If one uses the energy of the quartz crystal, or any other mineral, for purposes other than ‘for the good of all’ the experience of destructive forces within one’s life will be invited.
Since quartz crystals produce a force field of healing negative ions while clearing the surrounding atmosphere of positive ions, it also tends to cancel the harmful effect of radiation and radioactivity. Whenever worn or carried, it acts as a physical and mental energizer; it enhances and protects the aura and provides for amplification of the energy field of the body.
If a piece is worn close to the neck, it can stimulate the thyroid and parathyroid glands, and can also help with the respiratory problems such as congestion and sore throat. If worn over the heart, it can stimulate the thymus and can increase the efficiency of both the immune system. If worn over the solar plexus, it can provide for the stimulation of total body energies and can increase ones emotional fields. If worn on the fingers, it enhances ‘the Midas touch’; if worn on the wrist, it provides stimulation to the meridians which represent survival and protection of the physical and emotional bodies.
When worn at the third-eye, it can stimulate mental clarity, facilitating deep meditative states and activating psychic abilities. When worn as earrings, quartz crystals can provide for balancing of the physical body, for alignment with the higher realms, for stabilization and balancing of all chakras, for clearing and activation of the throat chakra and the third-eye, and for synchronicity between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. A single piece of quartz crystal carried on one’s person or placed in one’s environment will assist in maintaining balance, energy and protection.
Whether the crystal is worn, carried, or placed in one’s environment, the force, the warmth, and the brilliance remain attuned to the energy of the one to whom it is connected. Thus, it is a good advice not to use crystals which have been used by other persons unless total cleansing and re-energizing is affected.
There are about 40 different types of crystal quartzes all working with different energies. To mention a few will give us an idea of what one can find to work with. All of them have different healing energies.

For me, crystals have shown me a pathway in my life. Crystals are instruments of power that can successfully point us in the right direction to claim, develop, embrace and manifest the light within us that they so clearly reflect.
It is my hope and conscious projection that the knowledge I am divulging in these articles will be used only for positive purposes, and that through it my readers will be drawn closer to their own lighted centre of truth and power.
